CONTEXT & PROBLEM
My brother needed a portfolio to showcase his solo and orchestral performances. This was a new and unique challenge: designing a classical music aesthetic from scratch.
DESIGN & PROTOTYPING
The website features a simple, one-scroll structure with smooth section transitions, requiring no complex backend development beyond an email API.

I then translated the site map into a lo-fi prototype, helping me visualize the layout and plan media placement for images and videos.

VISUAL IDENTITY
This was probably the hardest part of the project. I wanted to make sure the website felt elegant and clean, reflecting the classical music theme.
IMPLEMENTATION & POLISH
The home page features Jeehoon playing the oboe with a simple two-word description.
The about section provides a brief overview of Jeehoon's background and musical journey.
The media section showcases Jeehoon's solo and orchestral performances in an interactive format.
The contact section provides a form for users to get in touch with Jeehoon (soon to have an image).
I translated my Figma designs into code using Gemini as my primary coding agent, vibe-coding the transitions that tie the pages together.
REFLECTION & LEARNING
Capturing that feeling you get from classical music and trying to translate it into a digital experience is pretty difficult. With most of my experience coming from more techhy products, this project challenged me to think outside of my comfort zone. I learned:
